Origins

San José is a 100% Arabica single origin grown on Finca San José, in the Caldas department, Colombia, between 1,350 and 1,470 metres above sea level.

The rich, mineral soil and an average temperature between 21° and 25° favor the development of a complex aromatic profile.

The cherries are harvested and selected strictly by hand, guaranteeing quality and uniformity of the batch.
Aromatic notes

The aromatic profile is rich and enveloping. Elegant hints of rum and chocolate emerge in the cup, accompanied by notes of ripe cherry and tiramisu.
The taste is sweet, deep and persistent, with a full and refined structure.

In Nespresso® compatible capsules, San José offers a clean and consistent extraction that makes the most of barrel fermentation.
