Miscela di caffè artigianale per la pasticceria Ottanta Venti

Ottanta Venti

A refined and perfectly balanced blend, characterized by a full body, natural sweetness, and a subtle hint of acidity that opens to fruity notes and a pleasant finish. Its fresh nuances come from the highlands of Guatemala, where the volcanic microclimate gives the beans lively aromas and a clean profile, with the utmost respect for the environment.

Origins

Balance and persistence

The Ottanta Venti blend is created from a carefully selected selection of premium Arabica and Robusta beans, 90% Arabica and 10% Robusta, sourced from ideal growing areas in Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, and India.

The individual origins are chosen based on the quality of the raw materials, batch consistency, and sensory compatibility, with the goal of achieving a balanced and technically stable blend. The Robusta component, selected for its cleanliness and structure, is included in a moderate percentage to support the body without interfering with the aromatic elegance of the Arabicas.

Roasting is artisanal, performed with dedicated and controlled profiles, designed to ensure uniformity and consistency. Packaging takes place in 1 kg airtight bags to preserve the freshness, aromatic integrity, and stability of the product over time.

Aromatic profile

Balanced and full, with a hint of acidity

The aromatic profile of Ottanta Venti is rounded and harmonious, with a slight hint of acidity that gives freshness and lengthens the persistence.

In the cup, hints of almond milk, ripe apricot, and red berries emerge. The notes evoke delicate, fruity aromas, well integrated into the blend's structure.

In extraction it proves to be reliable and continuous:
• in espresso it maintains balance and cleanliness
• in moka it gives a soft and smooth cup
• in preparations with milk it retains character and definition

Frequently Asked Questions

Where is your coffee produced?

All our coffees are blended and roasted by hand in our Verona facility, with profiles designed to enhance each blend and single-origin. Roasting is a key step in our work and is carefully and consistently monitored in a brick-oven roaster.

How often do you roast coffee?

Roasting takes place weekly , in small batches, to ensure product freshness and stability. This allows us to offer coffee that's always fresh, balanced, and suitable for extraction.

Is the coffee I buy online fresh?

Yes. Fresh coffee is packaged in airtight or vacuum-sealed bags, while the capsules are individually packaged in a protective atmosphere. This allows them to best preserve their characteristics over time.

Do the blends contain caffeine?

Yes, coffee naturally contains caffeine.

It should be noted, however, that some blends, such as Cento , have a naturally lower caffeine content than others, based on the selected origins.

Finally, there is decaffeinated coffee, which undergoes a process that significantly reduces its caffeine content, making it suitable for those who prefer to limit their caffeine intake.

Can I gift a blend or tasting box?

All blends and boxes are also suitable as gifts. On the website, you'll also find solutions specifically designed for tastings and special occasions, such as the MOKA BOX or the Limited Editions, when available. Alternatively, you can give a Gli Ormesini gift voucher to use in our online shop.

How should coffee be stored?

Coffee should be stored in a cool, dry place, away from light, heat, and humidity.

After opening, it is advisable to reseal the package well or transfer the coffee to an airtight, opaque container, to best preserve its characteristics over time.

Whole coffee beans retain their properties longer than ground coffee. Capsules, on the other hand, thanks to their protective packaging, ensure good stability until opened.

Avoid the refrigerator or freezer, as temperature changes and humidity can alter the product.
