The origins
A bridge
Ormesini was born from a handshake on the Ormesini Bridge in Venice. An idea born from the desire to build a bridge between those who think of coffee and those who put it in the cup.
The name
Coffee like silk
Ormesini are oriental silk drapes embroidered in Venice. The Ormesini Bridge, from which our coffee roastery takes its name, was the neighborhood of the artisans who embroidered these fine fabrics. Indeed, the connection between coffee and silk is very close: from its textures, to its craftsmanship, to its origins.
